On the 20.05.2010 the Austrian Society for Sustainable Building (ÖGNI) held its first “Green & Blue Building Conference”, an event dedicated to sustainable planning, construction and operation of buildings. The Conference was held in context of the real estate trade fair “Vienna Real” and was organized in cooperation with well-known partners from the real estate industry such as FMA or ULI, featuring presentations and a panel discussion involving numerous experts from the industry. The event culminated in the awarding of certifications for the first ÖGNI Auditors. Amongst those receiving certification were three BLUEWATERS Experts:

Following the conference, ImmoABS hosted an evening focused on “People in the real estate and construction industry” at the Erste Bank Event Center (Petersplatz 7, 1010 Vienna). Doris Wirth moderated a round table discussion titled “The purpose of energy performance certificates, from historical buildings to the Millennium City”.

The under the CEI KEP Programme financed project DIRECT – Development of Varazdin Rural Communities was officially launched today at the kick-off meeting held in Vienna.
The partners started with the structural analysis of the current situation in the rural areas in the County Varazdin and will prepare a comprehensive study by the end of June.
On 31st May 2010 a press conference will be organised in Varazdin.
 

The Alumni Assocation ImmoABS would like to invite current students and lecturers, as well as alumni and others interested in real estate to an informational and enjoyable evening focusing on real estate on the 20th of May 2010 in the ERSTE BANK Event Center, Petersplatz 7, 1010 Vienna.

Since their graduation from the TU Vienna, members of the alumni association have gained valuable practical experience and are now proving their talent in the real estate industry. These distinguished individuals have been able to benefit from continuous learning, gaining a great deal of theoretical and practical knowledge to become leading experts in their fields. The association features members from all areas of the real estate industry: architecture, property management, construction, appraisal/valuation, development and research.

This event provides an excellent opportunity to meet experts from the industry and to link with alumni, lecturers and current students of the faculty.

The next GEOHEALTH meeting with all partners (Geoteam GmbH (AT), ingenos ZT GmbH (AT), University of Oradea (RO), BLUEWATERS Yu do.o.(RS), secon d.o.o. (RS), and MVO-Ing d.o.o.(BiH) will take place in Novi Sad on 17th and 18th June 2010.
During the project meeting visits to the pilot regions in Apatin and Becej are foreseen.
